Flight Simulators
One of the best ways to learn to fly R/C Aircraft is to use a flight simulator. There are many different models out there. I happen to like the Ikarus Flight Simulator the best but the others are all good.
The main reason for the simulator is to help you get the hand-eye coordination that is needed to fly model aircraft. This is one of the best investments you can make in the hobby because you get to fly no matter what the weather is like and you also sharpen your skills without costing you for damaged aircraft. An added bonus is during the winters you can keep your skills up so when the season starts you are ready. I know some pilots who fly commerical aircraft for a living, fly R/C Jets for fun and spend at least an hour a week on the simulator just to keep his eye sharp.
